We are proud to announce that one of our beloved MPH graduates, Joel Ruvugo, who is currently a tutor on the Non-Communicable Disease module, has been nominated for Vice President Operations for African Union Ecosystem Based Adaptation for Food Security Assembly (EBAFOSA Tanzania).

African Union Ecosystem Based Adaptation for Food Security Assembly (EBAFOSA) is the first inclusive pan-African policy framework and implementation platform, a solutions space that brings together key stakeholders and actors along the entire EBA driven agriculture value chain. These stakeholders involve public sector, the private sector, academia and research, NGOs, CSOs, international organizations and individual publics at country and continental level.

This is a high responsibility position since, as Vice President Operations, Joel will be involved in all programs, projects and activities of the government and private sector as well as informal sector.

We are very proud of him and extremely happy seeing that our Public Health educative programs can really make a change in supporting career development for our students.

Please join us in congratulating Joel on his new appointment and wishing him the best luck on his new position.
