Entering the course website

Go to the course website http://courses.peoples-uni.org and this screen will come up:

Enter the Username and Password exactly as sent to you, click Login at the top right of the screen, and you will see the courses for which you have enrolled.

Hint: when you return to the site, if your username and password have not been remembered and appear, click Login at the top of the first screen you see when you go  to the site, and this second box shown below will appear - your Username and Password will have been remembered and all you have to do is click Login (so you don't  have to keep entering your Username and Password (but please do remember them!). .

Basic navigation

There are a number of ways to move around the course.

“Breadcrumbs” – this is a menu positioned below the course title which shows your position in the course. The notes below the following breadcrumbs example will make this clearer.

Topics

Topics reside in the centre of the course main page. The topic areas contain the resources, discussion forums, assignments etc., which make up the online elements of the course.  Example of a topic area:
